McLean, VA, February 5, 2018 – A-TEK, Inc. announced today that the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) recently awarded the company a Blanket Purchase Agreement to provide system requirements development, system development life cycle support, and system end-to-end and user acceptance testing for the myriad of web-based systems used to manage the Multi-State Plan (MSP) Program for eligible persons who purchase health insurance coverage on one of the Health Care Exchanges.

OPM has been developing and using web systems to implement and manage its responsibilities for the MSP Program for many years.  In developing its technology, OPM’s overarching goal has been to create a paperless environment and to have these web systems be the system of record.  A-TEK will collaborate with OPM to provide MSP Program system enhancements that have yet to be developed and deployed.

“The Office of Personnel Management is a new customer for A-TEK, and we are pleased to be one of nine women-owned small businesses to be awarded the ITSS BPA.  We are well positioned to support the BPA requirements based on prior experience supporting complex system development projects with other federal agencies.  We look forward to establishing a lasting partnership with OPM,” stated Kathryn Freeland, A-TEK Chief Executive Officer.
