Facility & Space Optimization

The workplace contains a treasure trove of information that can significantly reduce facility costs, increase worker productivity, and improve the office experience. And now, with the evolution of the modern workplace, A-TEK is leading the way to help federal agencies access and use this information to make important decisions.

With A-TEK’s modern workplace services, facility managers have a micro and macro view of workspace usage, space allocation, and energy consumption. This leads to smarter decisions about repurposing space, maximizing office usage, determining rental costs based on usage, managing energy costs, and improving productivity.

A-TEK has partnerships, relationships, and experience with COTS solution vendors such as Eptura, Nuvolo, Maximo, and Tririga. We leverage our facilities information domain expertise and software development experience to customize COTS systems to match the needs and requirements of our customers. A-TEK developed our Agile System-Assimilation Plan (A-SAP) methodology to maximize quality and minimize time-to-delivery.

A-TEK partners with its customers to advance from the modern workplace to the smart workplace. The Internet of Things (IoT) and other emerging technologies are providing our federal customers with new capabilities to improve their facilities management and worker experience.

Training

A-TEK uses the Adaptive Design Process (ADP) to decipher the most effective instructional design to meet specific training needs. The process examines multiple factors, including scope, complexity, and volume of content; learning and course objectives; time requirements; staff availability; multimedia needs; e-learning-specific components, and more. Drawing from this analysis, we design an instructional plan using one of two established education models to meet learning requirements for quality, retention, and applicability of content, 1) Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate (ADDIE) or 2) Successive Approximation Model (SAM).

A-TEK provides a full suite of training services including:
