Margaret (Peg) Melberg
As Director of Contracts, Peg is responsible for administering A-TEK’s diverse contract portfolio of information technology solutions. She brings more than two decades of experience providing a broad range of operational and business infrastructure support for small, medium, and large businesses undergoing transformation.
Peg is a former Contracting Officer’s Representative and Senior Advisor for the U.S. Department of Energy on Naval Petroleum and Oil Shale Reserves divestment activities. She holds a Masters in Business Administration (University of Chicago), Masters in Environmental Policy and Management (University of Denver), and Bachelor of Applied Science (University of Minnesota). Peg holds several management certifications including Certified Professional Contract Management (CPCM), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Records Manager (CRM), and Six Sigma White Belt Certification.
Peg also volunteers as the Northern Virginia Coordinator for Project Linus, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides handmade blankets to children 0-18 in the United States who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need.
